We still read ourselfes through a big stack of books from the library. Among them this treasure that I want to introduce to you. It’s called „Mother and daughter tales“ and has beautyful illustrations by Helen Cann. So if you happen to come across that book, it’s definitely worth reading. There are tales from all over the world that spread their mother-daughter magic together with those colourful and sensible illustrations.

Wir haben immer noch einen großen Stapel Bücher aus der Bibliothek hier liegen. Eines davon lesen wir gerade (morgens in der Strassenbahn und abends vorm Schlafengehen).
Das Buch heisst Mütter und Töchter, herausgegeben vom Verlag Urachhaus. Es ist eine Sammlung von Märchen über Mütter und ihre Töchter. Das Buch ist wunderschön illustriert mit Bildern von Helen Cann. Die Märchen entführen in fremde Kulturen. Passend dazu sind die farbenprächtigen Illustrationen. Mal orientalisch, mal slawisch und immer pssend zum jeweiligen Märchen. Sehr schön.
